| I am dedicated to improving my lacrosse skills, so that I can play college lacrosse. I am constantly working on my off hand to make me a more complete player. My strength is definitely shooting, this year I was more of a finisher. My weakness is probably isolation dodges, because I get pushed around, but I am starting to lift and I am improving my strength. I am working very hard because it is my dream to play at a college with a respectable lacrosse program. |

Scouting Comments
Joe is a pure lacrosse player who possesses the field vision and presence necessary to become a great college player. He has a calming demeanor on the field; everything seemed to flow more smoothly when he was involved. His stick skills were efficient and without wasted motions. His shots were crisp (his goals were lasers sent off-stick shoulder). He assisted on one goal where he drew the slide and made the appropriate pass to an open attack man. Joe is one of the few high school players I have ever seen who follows through (completely) with every pass, with either hand. Defensively his positioning was excellent on and off the ball. He sagged in according to the off ball distance and he was there to slide both times when it was necessary. His 1v1 defensive positioning was such that his opponent was always forced outside. His head was a constant swivel. His riding was effective and it prevented his man from receiving a clear. |
