What Does Lax Scout Offer Coaches?

Lax Scout provides collegiate lacrosse coaches with in-depth athletic and academic information on student-athletes from across the United States and throughout the world, giving them greater visibility into the global talent pool. We help coaches unearth "diamonds in the rough," which are capable of materially impacting the futures of their programs, whether they are top DI teams or brand new clubs. We provide coaches with information in two forms:
- Our user-friendly online student profiling system, which is accessible 24/7 from any web browser in the world
- Lax Scout's annual publication, the High School Lacrosse Recruiting Report, which includes select student profiles, articles and interviews
How Can I Use Lax Scout's Services?

Lax Scout is 100% free to college programs at the NCAA Division I, II, III, junior college and club levels. To sign up for our service, simply click here to register. Once you are registered, you will gain unlimited access to our web-based student profiling system where you can learn about students, follow their progress and read unbiased scouting reports written by our professional team of highly experienced Scouts.
Many of the coaches that register with us will also receive a free copy of the High School Lacrosse Recruiting Report when it comes out each summer. Due to the significant costs involved, we are unable to provide complimentary copies to every coach who registers. However, most of the information is available online. We appreciate your understanding.
What Information Do I Get?

Lax Scout provides you with all the essential student information such as height, weight, 40-time, statistics, lacrosse honors, camps, GPA, test scores, academic honors, etc. We also produce in-depth scouting reports for students that are invited into Lax Scout's Gold or Titanium profiles. Additionally, we send preprinted mailing labels of all the participants in Lax Scout to coaches that receive our publication to help facilitate communication with prospective students.
Is Lax Scout's Information Reliable?

Lax Scout aggregates highly accurate and reliable information on students through a variety of means. Some information comes directly from students and some is produced by our Scouts in the field. When students register for our service, their parents are required to sign a six-page legally binding agreement, which, in part, attests to the accuracy and honesty of all the information they submit. Similarly, all of our Scouts and Scouting Coordinators sign contracts that require them to avoid all bias and partiality when evaluating student-athletes.
How Experienced Are The Scouts?

Lax Scout only signs on the most qualified and experienced individuals to our national scouting team, and every member has, at a minimum, top NCAA playing experience. Our team consists of individuals such as Peter Worstell (4-time All-American at Maryland), Ted Garber (1993 NCAA Coach of the Year at UMass), Matt Hogan (former head coach at UPenn and assistant at Navy) and Michael Howley (MLL Rattlers and Team USA). What Are Lax Scout's Student Profiles?

Lax Scout has three different profiles: Silver, Gold and Titanium. Silver is open to any student throughout the world, whereas Gold and Titanium are strictly available by invitation only. Lax Scout has limited the number of Titanium profiles to 50 each year, while there is no maximum to the number of Silver or Gold.
Lax Scout does not invite, evaluate or scout any of the students in our Silver profile. Students in the Silver profile range dramatically in ability for this reason. It is possible that some of the best players in the country may sign up for this option simply because Lax Scout is unable to invite them to Gold or Titanium due to any number of reasons (locale, availability of scouts, time of year, etc.).
Lax Scout's Gold student-athletes possess, at a minimum, the talent, athleticism and potential to play lacrosse at top NCAA Division III programs, and possibly even Division I. It is important to note that since Titanium profiles are limited to only 50 nationwide, it is possible that students that fit the Titanium criteria are invited to Gold simply because no Titanium spots are available.
Lax Scout's Titanium student-athletes possess the talent, athleticism and potential to play at the highest level, top 20 NCAA Division I lacrosse. Titanium students are 50 of the best players our Scouts encounter throughout the country, but we do not mean to imply that they are the 50 best.
