LAX SCOUT GROWS SPONSORSHIP TEAM WITH BRINE & STX
SERVES UP NEW LACROSSE RECRUITING PUBLICATION

SCOTTSDALE, AZ - November 10, 2004 - Lax Scout (www.laxscout.com), an organization dedicated to helping high school student-athletes gain widespread exposure to college lacrosse coaches, has signed two new sponsors, Brine and STX, bringing the total corporate roster to five. In addition, Lax Scout is announcing that it has completed the distribution of its annual publication to nearly 250 college lacrosse coaches throughout the United States.

Since its inception two years ago, Lax Scout has attracted the finest companies in lacrosse and has built a formidable sponsorship team. In 2003, Great Atlantic, Cascade and Warrior formed the foundation, and now both Brine and STX join the exclusive group to deliver even greater value to the team. "I'm very happy to have Brine and STX on the roster. We're extremely selective when it comes to strategic alliances and both of these companies represent precisely what we look for in corporate partners-quality, integrity and tremendous love for the game," explained Christopher Deutsch, Lax Scout's President and Founder. "You'd be hard pressed to find a lacrosse player anywhere in the world that doesn't own something from one of our sponsors." Lax Scout has also expanded its relationships with each of its three previous sponsors. Lax Scout's Chief Operating Officer Peter Worstell said, "The recent additions of Brine and STX to our very targeted list of sponsors that also includes Great Atlantic, Cascade and Warrior, makes this an unprecedented roster of support. These sponsorships will serve as rocket boosters for the Lax Scout mission of helping high school student athletes find a collegiate lacrosse program that is consistent with their abilities and desires."

"Brine is committed to the future of this game-our partnership with Lax Scout will ensure that new players move on to the next level. Together, we're exposing opportunities for high school students to continue with the sport, pushing their skills and athleticism, as well as pursue their post-grad academic career. This partnership is another initiative that will grow and give longevity to lacrosse," said Mike Martin, Brine's Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Recent collegiate national champion, NCAA Player of the Year and Marketing Specialist for Brine, Mike Powell added, "I wish Lax Scout was around when I was graduating because I played with good players in high school who would have loved to have the opportunity to play college lacrosse. Lax Scout gives kids in the up and coming areas an opportunity to attend a college with a lacrosse program that will help their lacrosse skills catch up with their athleticism. This in turn will help the growth of the game to make it national, rather than regional."

"Lax Scout offers college coaches the most critical tool of all for recruiting-precise, detailed information on the players that will stand out at the college level," noted Geoff Broderick, Director of Sales and Marketing at STX. "Utilizing a group of experienced and knowledgeable scouts, Lax Scout canvasses the nation to deliver information on the players to watch. There is no other tool available today that has the impact for players and coaches like Lax Scout."

In addition to the expansion of Lax Scout's roster of corporate sponsors, it has also completed the distribution of its annual recruiting publication, the 2004 High School Lacrosse Recruiting Report. The publication was delivered to lacrosse programs at every collegiate level including NCAA varsity teams, NJCAA junior colleges and USLIA clubs. Coaches received scouting reports and other detailed information on student-athletes hailing from 23 states, countries as distant as Australia and as near as Canada.

The 2004 edition also featured several informative articles by noted experts such as 1998 NCAA Defenseman of the Year, Christian Cook, four-time All-American, Peter Worstell, 1993 NCAA Coach of the Year, Ted Garber, 1986 ACC Player of the Year, Tom Worstell and author of American Indian Lacrosse: Little Brother of War, Dr. Thomas Vennum, Jr. Lax Scout also interviewed former Navy Assistant Coach, Matt Hogan and two-time Tewaaraton Trophy recipient Mike Powell. In his interview, Coach Hogan said, "Any support a coach can get in evaluating players is positive. I think Lax Scout is the only one where 'lacrosse people' are evaluating the athletes. Your publications are professional, clean and accurate." Hogan concluded, "I would use Lax Scout if I was still a college coach."
