Lax Scout is continually expanding into new markets. We are looking for new scouts and scouting coordinators from across the United States to fuel Lax scout's ability to help more high schools students.
The ideal candidate will have (these are not all required):
- A tremendous passion for lacrosse
- Available time to attend high school lacrosse games during the week or on weekends, or ideally both
- Played high school lacrosse
- Played college lacrosse at a highly competitive program
- Garnered recognition while in college (i.e. team captain, All-Conference, All-American, etc.)
- Possibly played at the professional level
- Possibly coached at the youth or collegiate levels
- Connections and relationships with other members of the local and/or national lacrosse community
The scout's main responsibility is to attend high school lacrosse games in their area and watch students that have signed up for the Lax Scout service. Scouts then report on the students they have scouted by answering a detailed scouting report that Lax Scout provides. Scouts will only evaluate one or two students at a given scouting event. We do this to ensure the most accurate assessment for students that use our service. Scouts are paid based on the number of students that they scout.
Scouting Coordinators help assign and coordinate scouts in their local areas. They also assist Lax Scout's Vice President of National Scouting with finding new scouts, training scouts and often scout students as well.
If you are interested in learning more about joining the Lax Scout team as either a scout or a scouting coordinator, send us an email with your resume and lacrosse experience to info@laxscout.com.
