"I wish Lax Scout was around when I was graduating because I played with good players in high school who would have loved to have he opportunity to play college lacrosse. The main thing to remember is that lacrosse players from areas like New York and Baltimore aren't any better athletes than those from states such as Arizona, Colorado and California. New York players just spend more time with their sticks and are more familiar with the game. Lax Scout gives kids in the up and coming areas an opportunity to attend a college with a lacrosse program that will help their lacrosse skills catch up with their athleticism. This in turn will help the growth of the game to make it national, rather than regional."
- Mike Powell (Syracuse '04, Tewaaraton Award Recipient, NCAA Player of the Year)

"Any support a coach can get in evaluating players is positive. I think Lax Scout is the only one where 'lacrosse people' are evaluating the athletes. Your publications are professional, clean and accurate. The sport is growing quickly in participation numbers all over the country. College recruiting budgets do not allow coaches to travel to many of the "non-traditional" lacrosse areas. Though coaches are reaching into Canada, the Midwest, and very soon coaches will be traveling to the West. However, Lax Scout allows an introduction of a player to the coach, allows contact to be made and then the college coach can determine where the player is playing for the coach to evaluate and then watch. It is the first step in a recruiting relationship for many players. It is a long answer to Yes, I would use Lax Scout if I was still a college coach."
- Matt Hogan (former Head Coach at UPenn, former Assistant Coach at Navy)

"Lax Scout provides exposure for lacrosse players all over the world, even in Australia. They went above and beyond their duties to help me reach my dream of playing lacrosse in America. Lax Scout is the best thing that could have happened to me as a lacrosse player."
- Lax Scout student from Australia

"Lax Scout is the most impressive recruiting service I have seen. Their magazine style format presents the students in the best possible manner to college lacrosse coaches. Lax Scout would have been helpful while I was in high school in Denver."
- Christian Cook (Princeton '98, MLL Pride, NCAA & MLL Defenseman of the Year)

"Lacrosse is exploding all over the country and the Lax Scout support network is great for players serious about continuing in college. The talent pool is constantly getting deeper and more geographically diverse, and Lax Scout gives high school athletes the opportunity to reach hundreds of college coaches from coast to coast. Lax Scout is very unique in its ability to link players and coaches."
- Dave Morrow (Princeton '93, Founder & CEO of Warrior, NCAA Player of the Year)

"Lax Scout is helping me to fulfill my dreams, to play lacrosse in the NCAA!"
- Lax Scout student from Ontario, Canada

"My parents and I have been very impressed working with Lax Scout over the past few months. They have been quick to answer every concern or question and have made the process of finding a school to attend and play lacrosse at as easy and helpful as it can be. Thank you for the timely updates and constant emails that keep us informed of what we can do to become more visible to many other coaches. I can't help but think the reason for so many contacts from coaches came from the distribution of the Lax Scout 2004 recruiting book. Thank you Lax Scout for your help with the search."
- Lax Scout student from CO

"Signing up with Lax Scout was the best thing we ever did. Our son has received nearly two letters a day with the Lax Scout sticker on them so we know the service is working. Every experience we've had with Lax Scout has been professional and courteous. I've been so impressed with the level of service that I've told many other parents about Lax Scout for their sons as well."
- Lax Scout Parent from AZ

"In our travels across the country we see many outstanding players that may not get the exposure as the players in the traditional lacrosse hotbeds. Lax Scout is providing the exposure to those individuals with the most comprehensive recruiting service in our game. The staff is comprised of enthusiastic individuals who know what coaches are looking for at the next level."
- Chad Watson (UNC '89, President of the Great Atlantic Lacrosse Co.)

"What a great service to student athletes. The magazine looks great. And the distribution list justifies the cost. Keep up the good work. Please keep us informed of anything else you do."
- Lax Scout Parent from MA

"We've been very impressed with Lax Scout's personal attention to detail. We heard from six coaches within the first week of publication including an invitation to a recruiting camp."
- Lax Scout Student from CO

"That's where Lax Scout comes in. If there is a player with talent who wants to be recruited, Christopher Deutsch, President and founder of the recruiting publication will find him and help him."
- Inside Lacrosse (Article by Adrienne Winston on 9/30/04)

"YLUSA.com interviewed Christopher Deutsch editor and founder of what will become the premier lacrosse recruiting publication in the USA. YLUSA.com has reviewed this year's Lax Scout and we can tell our readers that Lax Scout is the new lacrosse recruiting bible."
- YouthLacrosseUSA.com (Article by Gerald Goulder on 10/22/03)

"For current high school players, the chief concern is to get recognized in an ever-expanding talent pool. Lax Scout just might be one of the best ways to accomplish that."
- The Daily Progress, Charlottesville, VA (Article by Nate Rullman on 6/22/04)

"I have received over 15 college replies, many from schools I was already considering, but the letters from schools I wasn't considering have provided me with new insight for my future with lacrosse, but more importantly with my educational considerations. Thanks Lax Scout for the excellent service…getting mail has never been so much fun!"
- Lax Scout student from CO

"Dear Mr. Deutsch,
I would like to say that this program is an excellent one. In Illinois, there aren't many scouts or programs where you receive information on universities. I have already received two applications from top division I and division II teams. I am already filling them out. I would just like to thank you for designing this program."
- Lax Scout student from IL

"With the growth of lacrosse more and more athletes are competing for fewer opportunities. Lax scout allows these lacrosse players from non-traditional recruiting areas to get the exposure they need in order to compete for a chance to play college lacrosse. It is a service that should be taken advantage of by anyone who plans on taking their game to the college level."
- Josh White (Princeton '03, All-American, NCAA National Champion)

"Lax Scout is a great opportunity for players to get their names out to college coaches and to create an opportunity to continue playing at the college level. There are so many levels of competitive college lacrosse now, that most high school players should be able to find a team that they can be a major contributor to with the right desire. Lax Scout is the perfect start for players with that desire."
- Dan Lannon (Syracuse ’91, Three-Time NCAA National Champion)

"The lacrosse environment has never been so competitive and coaches require a multitude of scouting resources from all over the country to fill spots on their rosters. I tell all players I coach that it is imperative to take an active role in the college recruiting process. What players need to do is separate themselves from others by displaying their talents to coaches in a professional manner every chance they get. That is why I am a big believer in Lax Scout. It is a company dedicated to helping kids fulfill their college aspirations."
- Matt Ogelsby (Duke '95, NLL Stealth, MLL Summer Showcase, ACC Player of the Year)

"I think what you are doing is not only a great idea but admirable. Kids from Colorado don't always get a fair shot and a few should. I have coached over 200 boys the last 11 years and some have played at the NCAA level. Currently I coach an 8th grade club team that has won the state championship 2 out of the last 3 years and I co-coached the U13 Team Denver all star team last year that beat three Maryland area teams at the LaxMax Tournament and won the Vail Tournament."
- Fred Taylor (Co-Head Coach, U13 Team Denver)

"Lax Scout is one of the best things for H.S. lax. If it wasn't for Lax Scout some of the talent hidden in less profiled areas would not be found."
- Lax Scout student from AZ

"Lax Scout is a great way to get your name out into the lacrosse world and be seen by coaches of some great college programs. Thanks to Lax Scout, I've been getting letters from all kinds of great schools!"
- Lax Scout student from WI

"Lax Scout can give each player the opportunity to be seen on a national level. Exposure is the key element to being recruited. The competition to be recruited is very tough. Players need to have the whole package, grades and skill. From my personal experiences, Lax Scout gives the recruit maximum exposure and the coach the ability to look beyond traditional recruiting methods and areas."
- Jon Barocas (Head Coach, Denver East HS)

"I'm proud to be a part of such a great program. The motivation of everyone involved with Lax Scout is to enhance the future of student athletes and ensure they get to the next level. Considering I grew up and played Lacrosse on Long Island, I was amazed at the local talent in Arizona and I'm sure there are so many other students across the nation that could benefit from Lax Scout!"
- Steve Connor (Whittier '96, Former Asst. Coach at Whittier College)

"I like Lax Scout because it is a very easy read. Not verbose. Factual, concise and to the point."
- Rich McAbee (President of the AZ Chapter of US Lacrosse and the AYLL)

"Lacrosse is growing at a records pace across the country. Every year talented players are going unnoticed by coaches, possibly due to geographic location. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!!! Lax Scout is the ultimate coaching connection."
- Mike Abeles (OSU '00, All-American, Goalie of the Century at OSU, MLL Cannons)

"From its modest origins in mid-19th century Montreal, where George Beers and his schoolboy friends put into practice what they had learned from the nearby Mohawk Indians, lacrosse moved to upstate New York and New England colleges and only gradually since then spread south and west. The explosion of the game today, especially west of the Mississippi, is happening more rapidly than many expected. Thus it is vital that the momentum be continued by reaching the new pool of talent emerging in the high schools despite their inadequate number of coaches, referees and playing fields. A service such as Lax Scout helps to connect these young players with programs elsewhere in the country, thus capitalizing on their talents and ensuring a continued healthy growth of the sport at all levels."
- Dr. Thomas Vennum (author of American Indian Lacrosse: Little Brother Of War)
